Government College Sultanpur (Farrukhnagar) Gurugram was established in the year 2019 by the government of Haryana to cater the demands of student community in the Farrukhnagar town and the neighbouring areas. It has a lush green campus sprawling across 8.5 acres of land. The college is located in the Jhanjhrola Khera Road and at just 3.25 km away from Sultanpur National Park- one among the only two national parks of Haryana.
The college was being run in a make shift building of village secretariat and government school of Sultanpur till October 2023 and its building was formally inaugurated by honorable Chief Minister of Haryana on 7th March 2024.
Having started its journey with the first batch having the enrollment of just 48 students, the college is imparting the education to more than 500 students coming from various blocks of Gurugram districts and even from the neighbouring district like Jhajjar and Rewari.
By imparting analytic, value-based education the college has acquired a reputation of excellence in a very short span of time. The Principal, the members of college fraternity, the ministerial staff and the support staff work tirelessly to make the college a coveted and sought after institution for higher learning.
