Principal

From the Principal’s Desk “Education is the most powerful tool which you can use to change the world.” — Nelson Mandela It is both an honour and a responsibility to serve as the Principal of Government College Sultanpur. Having served in different Government Colleges across Haryana during my 25 years of service, I feel deeply privileged to now be given the opportunity to guide this college towards greater heights. All of us know that education is not merely about imparting knowledge, but about shaping character, building confidence, and creating opportunities that uplift individuals as well as the community at large. My vision is to provide our students—many of whom are the first generation learners in their families—with the same exposure, opportunities, and confidence that students in bigger centres enjoy. Education here must go beyond classrooms; it must empower our youth with digital skills, critical thinking, and the courage to dream big while staying rooted in their values. In alliance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the college is committed to holistic and inclusive development encompassing academic, emotional, and physical growth—going beyond the boundaries of gender, caste, or social status. With the support of my dedicated staff, I aspire to create an environment where rural talent flourishes, and every student feels prepared to meet global challenges while contributing meaningfully to their community, the state, and our country at large. As the college grows, it is my firm belief that its progress will directly contribute to the overall development of the rural region we serve. During my tenure in this college, I resolve to leave behind a legacy of opportunity, inclusiveness, and growth for the bright young minds of Sultanpur. Together, we will ensure that the college continues to be a true temple of learning, where aspirations take flight and futures are shaped. Dr. SUNITA RANI , Principal (HES-I) Govt.
