"A one-day extension lecture on 'Mahatma Gandhi: His Political Legacy in Colonial India and Contemporary Relevance in the 21st Century' was organized by the Departments of Political Science and History at Government College Sultanpur on October 1st. The lecture was held in Room No. 5 of the college. Assistant Professor Dr. Sakshi Tiwari from the History Department of Government Women's College, Sector 52, Gurugram, was the chief speaker. The program began with an offering to Goddess Saraswati. Dr. Sakshi Tiwari discussed the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi's thoughts in depth and presented her views on Gandhi's political, social, and economic ideologies. The program was moderated by Professor Suman Lata, and Professor Dr. Lamha Bano expressed gratitude towards the chief speaker. Other faculty members and students, including Dr. Garima Yadav, Dr. Mona, Dr. Swati, Dr. Priyanka, Mrs. Pooja Kumari, and Dr. Devika, were also present."
